The best thing about the Phoenix is that there is really nothing terrible about it. The worst thing is that there is nothing really great about it. Maybe the historical building is great, but for me atmosphere is only 25% of the equation when I go to a restaurant like the Phoenix.
This is another restaurant that tries to get there but just quite cannot. Part of it is that the Cincinnati market (and most of the United States) will not support an anachronistic fine dining concept
