Desmonds is really two different bars. During the day and on most weekday evenings its a no-nonsense regular bar where you can have a drink and chat with regulars and the bartenders. On the weekend evenings it transforms itself into a band oriented college style bar. The drinks are reasonably priced, the staff is great, and the food is surprisingly good.
