The thing to remember is that you can always get an appetizer at the bar-you can even get your whole meal there! And if you get to socialize with Steve the bartender (one of the best EVER!), it makes it a better experience. I'm a regular, and I often volunteer to sit at the bar a little longer, just to hang out with Steve (or Britney, on Saturdays). Go on nights when Tony is playing piano, order a Carmine's cocktail, and enjoy the calamari while you wait. The time will fly by!
