Between Horton, Barboursville and Burnley you've got 3 wineries within 15 minutes of each other. All of the wines are wonderful. Barboursville Reisling is THE BEST. I order by the case over any other winery in the country.
Arrive early Saturday and visit the 3 wineries, stay at the Mayhurst Inn B&B (15 minutes away). The hosts are wonderful and will recommend a nice restaurant for the evening. Don't forget to chill a bottle of your favorite wine for the night-cap. Breakfast in the morning then head home. From Washington DC it's about a 1:30 minute drive.
