One can't deny the quality of ingredients, or that the menu is pretty interesting at the White Dog. However the prices are out of whack with a) the food, b) the level of service and c) all of the Marxist crap that one has to eat along with the entrees. Shouldn't Marxists serve food priced for the downtrodden masses?
That one is force-fed so much tired, hippy, self-righteous political ""hooray for our side"" polemic is a huge disincentive for me to go to the White Dog. That it is in a good location, in a charming building, that the food is pretty good causes my wife to force me to go there sometimes.
Pros: location, interesting menu, nice building
Cons: overpriced, preachy politics
