Jones Beach Theater sucks! Employees are rude and abrasive, and they take their jobs waaaaay too seriously, constantly telling patrons what to do and what NOT to do. No alcohol is served, and food/drink is extremely overpriced anyway. You can count on spending $4 for a normally $1 bottle of water, and sodas are $5. And don't even get me started on their rain-or-shine policy. I got rained on at two different shows, including David Bowie, whose set was cut short due to lightning, with no compensation whatsoever--and tickets were $75!! In future if I want to go to any outdoor shows, I'll stick with the Garden State Art Center in NJ.
