I went to avalon a few weeks ago, inspired by the great reviews posted here..but im more than a little disappointed. Avalon definitely looks nice, and the people there are very polite, but I don't think they know very much about stylish hair. My stylist described a great haircut to me, but then decided to completely do the opposite! He hacked off all my hair, then added some invisible layers and called it quits. My hair looks like someone took a giant garden scissor and chopped it off while I was sleeping! Don't be disillusioned by the look of this place, they may look and sound like they know what they're doing, but when it comes to actually cutting hair, theyre clueless.
