This secluded resort is located in one of the most scenic and surreal landscapes in the southwest. The adobe style casitas are spread amongst immense volcanic boulders and huge cacti. There's a large rock formation in the middle of the property. Both 18 hole courses are scenic and challenging. Too bad this land wasn't preserved as a public park. The service, food and amenities have apparently faded a bit since the resort was purchased by Wyndham. Some of the best staff migrated to the Four Seasons.
Pros: Scenic
Cons: Expensive
