I've always enjoyed eating here, and make a point of getting there early otherwise I suffer waiting for an 1-1.5 hours! It gets crazy packed on the weekends starting at 7:30 PM, and the noise level can get rather unbearable and you'll find yourself screaming to your tablemates during conversation. The place is small but charming. The food is excellent -- everyone I've brought here has enjoyed it famously! My favorites: tortilla spanola (a little too much onion), grilled calamari, shrimp in spicy aioli, crabcakes, and lubina (tilapia), and for dessert, the caramelized bananas with pistachio nuts and ice cream (however, Cafe Ba-ba-reeba makes this dessert better, IMHO). Sangria is a little expensive, yet still yummy and thirst-quenching. Twist is definitely a great addition to the Wrigleyville area! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do! (FYI: They do not take reservations, so go early!).
