Technologies born today are willed for hopes of a better tomorrow. Of course, Opthamalogical experimentations are among the highest of EXTREME RISKS ...afterall, "you get only ONE pair of eyes"...so far anyway. Almost 2 yrs ago when Laser Eye Surg. had its GIANT boom in popularity (remember all the "2 for 1" specials?), most young Eye Docs' could not wait to measure you up an Rx for SURGERY. Daniel W. asked if I had problems wearing contacts (13 yr veteran AND -5.0+ Rx)..My answer was "No problems" and he said simply, "Then why take the risk?" Good point!!
Dr. W. was also up-to-date about the latest discoveries/innovations concerning eyecare and contact lenses! Just goes to show...WITH AGE .....REALLY DOES COMES WISDOM!!
