located in a veritable meat lover's alley (mcdonalds, carl's jr, KFC, roscoe's, taco bell, burger king), orean shines as a beacon of good health.
if you've never been, introduce yourself to the veggie fastfood with a ""salad burger"" -- a mound of beans, sprouts, bean sprouts, and veggies jammed in an organic whole weat bun. quite tasty and filling. treat yourself to a non-dairy soy milkshake or soy ice cream on hot days. you won't be able to tell the difference between the soy version and the full fat cow version. get some heart healthy air-baked french fries on the side.
all the food is tasty, but they excel at the imitation fast food (hot dogs, hamburgers, the chicken 'o burger, etc.). honorable mention goes to the falafel.
i wish there more around town.
