My child went to see Dr. McKenna for several years after he was born. I heard that Dr. McKenna was a good doctor from some of my friends at work. Through my experiences I found that Dr. McKenna is a very good pediatrician. She really cares about the health of your child and recommends only the best for your child. She insists that you call her and schedule an appointment even if you are not sure if your child is getting really sick. The wait can be long especially during the flu season but it is understandable because she has MANY patients. As far as being cordial, this doctor is very direct and forward but I would still recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician in the Waimea area.
