BirthCare is a group of midwives located in Alexandria, VA. They do birthcenter and home births, and are a wonderful alternative to hospital births. I just had my first baby 8 weeks ago there at the birth center, and wouldn't have done it any other way! I was able to labor at home for the most part, and they allowed me to find the most comfortable positions for labor. They encourage immediate breastfeeding and bonding with your baby. I will go there again next time, and try a home birth!
