I had a great experience with Dr Selick and for that matter with the entire office despite major difficulties in becoming pregnant. I always found Dr Selick to be straightforward and I appreciated that. I feel like we went through a lot together and the attention she gave me made the whole IVF process much more manageable. I now have two babies and feel I owe it to her and my other regular doctor, Amy Bloomgarden, an outstanding doctor as well. Dr Selick can be very direct and I could see why this could be mistaken for insensitivity but I see it more as a way to not give false expectations.
