Opened a tin of newly purchased Mrs Hanes Cookies during the Christmas season. Was surprised to discover the cookies weren't fit to eat, with an unusual aroma and a small amount of liquid in the tin.
Called Mrs Hanes Cookies and requested permission to return the cookies for replacement.
The sarcasm and hostility exhibited by their telephone receptionist Gigi Condon was amazing! She must have been out of Midol, if you know what I mean. Mrs Hanes would be wise to keep her away from customers at least five days every month.
After biting my head off, she went on to snarl that NO, there would be no replacement sent, because no doubt I'd find something wrong with whatever I got. Then she hung up on me.
Questionable cookies, and unbelievably bad customer service. Pay your money and take your chances.
