Staff at front check out counter rude. Although there are two ladies there, both were so involved with inflating balloons that they had no time to check out the queue of customers standing a few feet away. A little eye contact, perhaps a cheery "Be right there with you!" would do wonders. ANYTHING to acknowledge that you know customers are waiting to be checked out. Two of us gave up and left without buying our purchases. I walked to the back of the store, the pharmacy, to check out. They have about a gazillion pharmacy techs there. How about staffing the rest of the store too?
Westbury used to have a great deli and beverage selection - it's been pared down to nothing special and their prices are $$$$. I might as well shop at Wal-Mart if I want to be treated to poor customer service. And I wouldn't have to pay top dollar for it!!
