I am an accountant so words are not my strength but I feel like I need to try to express my appreciation to St. Mary's Hospital, and specifically to Robyn Porter. I recently had an MRI to determine if I had a recurrence of breast cancer. There were scheduling problems (due to insurance approvals) and delays with the MRI (due to problems with the patient before me). Robyn went above and beyond to ensure my anxiety was as low as it could be and also kept my Mom informed on the day of teh MRI. She told me when I could epect the results and gave me her direct phone number and told me to call with ANY concerns I had. When I called she called me back in less than 30 minutes. Unfortunately I have had several occasions over the last few years to have need for services at St. Mary's. Everyone there - doctors, nurses, admitting employees, volunteers, janitorial staff - have been caring and compassionate. Richmond is fortunate to have a hospital the caliber of St. Mary's.
