After my first dealings with Carpets by Conrad I became a loyal customer. This was due to the efficient and professional service of Mark Merrill in the sales dept.
I didn’t hesitate to pick their business again when I had flooring needs a year later. Again, Mark was the epitome of what a great salesman should be like.
However, with the second dealings, I had install issues. These issues still are not completed to my satisfaction. On Sept. 6th Mark evaluated the obvious carpet seams that I was concerned with and also noted the sloppiness of the gluing of a T-molding strip during the tile work. Finally on October 17th the installer came back to my home. He was able to clean up the T-molding and he realigned the patterned carpet. The correction of the 2nd seam actually made the situation worse since a craft glue gun was used to adhere the carpet to the carpet tape. In doing this the one seam now has a hill & is not flush to the floor. The hot glue seeped out of the other seam and left the carpet hard/crunchy feeling. The installers came back out for the 3rd time and cut out a section of the carpet that had the dried hot glue stick on it and put a patch of the remnant I had saved. I was told nothing could be done about the hill on the other seam.
