Terrible service 9/4/2011

will say this is a beautiful store with a great selection of furniture. That's why I bought from them in the past. But something changed. On Sunday the 28th of August I went to Stacy's to by a new recliner with my wife and stepson. We selected a very nice recliner and Dallas our salesperson told us it would be delivered in the following week as a large inventory of these chairs were on a truck due that upcoming week. By late Thursday afternoon I still had heard nothing from Dallas or anyone else at Stacy's. I called and was directed to her voicemail and was told she would be in the next day and would call me first thing. By the end of the day Friday, still nothing. I called again and now told Dallas was on vacation. The person answering took my number and assured me someone would call me before the end of the day. Still nothing by Saturday afternoon, so I go to the store to get an answer. I stand in line for 10 minutes only to be pushed aside by another saleswoman who went ahead of me despite clearly seeing I was in front of her. I then went to a "concierge" table and after another woman apologized she left to go get Mr. Stacy. 10 more minutes and finally someone else shows up and asks if i have been helped. Finally I am told it will be a week to ten days. No offer to make amends. So I just canceled the sale and left the store. Too bad, my wife and I just bought a new house.
