My husband and I stayed at the Tradewinds for the first night of a four-day getaway on our 25th wedding anniversary. I had read the reviews on this site, and was dismayed, but was reassured by the manager that our room would be satisfactory. And satisfactory it was - it was downirght excellent! We had a great view of the water, and our room was extremely clean. You'd definitely need a room on 2nd and up floors for a view, as there is a large parking lot. The breakfast buffet was rather boring, but that wasn't a big deal. It was nice to be able to eat outside on the patio - lovely October weather! But we had a great stay, and would definitely go there again. Be sure to check out the lighthouse museum across the street - fascinating stuff!
