I purchased a pet from Bree's Pet Depot and it had a congenital defect. I went through alot to get my pet healthy. The store was not very helpful until I brought the California Puppy Law to their attention and than they paid at the beginning. They would not pay the rest until I took them to small claims court and won. They than paid the rest. I was not the first to have purchased a defective pet and they did not help that person either. They did not even comply with the los angeles county laws to sell pets and were fined by animal control. One day while I was going in the store to try to get the payment there was blood all over the place. A puppy had been "dropped?" and its arm was broken. When I came back the puppy was in the back in an unsecure glass cage and so medicated it could not hold its head up. An employee commented "we are going to loose money on that one". I asked what was going to happen to the poor puppy and she said once the arm was healed they would "send it out". I was sickened by the experience.If you want to support puppy mills and animal abuse support this store.
