I have yet to be disappointed. The staff is what makes this hotel more like a home. Julie at the front desk is a pleasure to deal with and the owner is a hoot! The rooms are adequete and the pool area is lovely. The lounge at the hotel rarely disappoints. The only disappointment I have is that the guy that used to make the place tick, I believe his name was John, has left...I'm sure onto better things. Even though, this hotel is the best deal in town and I recommend to all who pass through Columbia and want to feel like they are at an old freinds house.
