I have lived in Downtown Seattle for 9 years now, Elliot Bay was the very first vet I took Ruby (my beloved Min Pin) to after a very scary seizure incident, and again shortly there after for a not-too-scary ate- a-bowl-of-cashews incident. Both times they were unbelievabley professional, thorough, kind, visabley loving toward her, empathetic, and informative. They kept me completley in the know about health risks, details of her health issues, and the cost at all times. As 21yr olds often do, I made a big mistake and decided to stop going to EBAH, and start trying various other less expensive vets. I have "tried" at least 4 other vets in the downtown area, and I can nearly assure you that there is no better veterinary hospital in the area. 2 days ago when Ruby fell ill and seemed unable to move, I decided to stop messing around and go straight to EBAH. I am very happy to say that it was an even better experience than I remember it being before! It is amazing the different experiences you get between an average vet and a top notch one. Elliot Bay Animal Hospital is definatley worth the slighty higher prices, they will save you money in the long run. I am switching my 6 mo. old mini dachshund, Lucy, to EBAH ASAP.
