My son and I had to attend a funeral and we started out across the street at the Northwest Motor Inn. The front desk person showed us a room and it was filthy and the desk clerk got very rude with us. We left there and went across the street to Motel Puyallup. What a world of difference. I think the reviewers I've seen have gotten the two of these places mixed up. Motel Puyallup is most of all: CLEAN! The furniture is newer, the rooms are fresh, and the front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. They also gave us a special bereavement rate because we were attending a funeral. Great place! Don't go by some of the bad reviews you see! Go look for yourself!
