Hotel offers private rooms with bath, euro style rooms, as well as dorm rooms. There is one share kitchen and two share toilet and shower rooms. It is a vintage building. It is under renovation. The remodel of restrooms are complete and are much more pleasing than prior. However, the share shower stalls do not have safety rails. There is no refuse bin, which often leads to soap wrappers, shampoo bottles, tissue, cloths and fecal/bodily fluids left on floors. Also, it does not seem efficient. As the water takes, at least, 10 minutes to reach a tepid temperature. The share toilet rooms are newly painted. Unfortunately, its been noted on numerous occasions in which the toilets were unusable, due to SEVERE guest uncleanliness and disregard. I have not used the share kitchen. My only opinion is one would prefer to use kitchenware that is clean by hands of occupants that do not leave restrooms in such unsanitary conditions. The two managers do clean daily and dispell the odors of urine, sick and dog. There are a few remodeled rooms that are the only redeeming quailty to this establishment. Very simplistic, minimal meets cabin. Ikea furnishings, large windows and wood floors. It was communicated to me, by manager, that there are to be no pets, no smoking as well as a zero drug policy. As these had been areas of concerns in the past. It was also explained, by manager, that the former management and tenants had been vacated due to the heavy drug, law inforcement and emergency service interactions. During the course of my holiday I have been approached, almost daily, for substances. Guests have been blatent in their use and exchanges. When brought to the managers attention, they issued memos. To no resolve, it continues to occur. With regard to cigarette smoke, there is absolute no compliance to state law. Often you will find many outside the establishment door.
