Appreciation of Art is not to own or control the work but to be in its presence and take in it's surroundings. The neighbors are not stinkers they are maintaining the heart and feel of the Barnes Foundation as it was created to be not as you would have it to be. What is wrong with you people? If it is not easy and laid out before you then it must be wrong or stinkers. Why must everything conform to our comfort and desires why can't we conform to the art and appreciate it for what and where it is? Dr. Barnes did not intend for this to be one of the wonders of the world he intended to nourish Art Appreciation through learning and not to be a tourist destination. Can't you people see this? Everything is not about you and making it easy for you. It is about these works that are unique and surrounded in a world totally created for them not you.
