I grew up going to Lion's Tap during special occassion trips to the "Cities." I now live in Tennessee and MUST stop at the Tap every time I visit Minnesota.
They have the best cheeseburgers and fries of anywhere I've tried. Yes, that is all they have...because it's all they need. They have been serving nothing but burgers for decades and still have a booming business - this says it all! Some reviews have said negative things about service, but their waiters have been quick and efficient every time I've visited (and that is a lot:). Drinks, order, delivery, check to make sure everything is okay: good, basic service. Don't know why anyone needs more. They are always friendly, too. All in all, this is THE place for burgers.
