Dear Mr. Ryan,
Change is perhaps the only thing I know that is constant. And with change comes great opportunity for everyone and everything.
Seven years ago, I was given the privilege of becoming the CEO of AIDS Foundation Houston. The Board, staff, and you….. our donors, volunteers and friends…. rallied together to make this agency one of the finest in the country. I assure you that statement is not exaggeration; we have together grown an agency built on commitment and a passion to enhance the lives of those in our community in need. Together we have all done a remarkable job!
It is in the spirit of change that I have resigned, effective October 1, and wanted to take this chance to thank you. You have all invested in this agency as much as I, if not more. It has been an amazing journey to be a part of such vision and follow-through. I am at a loss for words that could ever express my thanks to each of you for trusting us with your time and dollars. The partnership we have created around a mission is one worth replicating many times. I assure you that I will never lose my passion or love for this agency. I believe it is time for new leadership, visions, and opportunities. I look forward to our longstanding commitment to AIDS Foundation Houston, together…… despite job titles or locations.
