Claim Jumper is a quick burger joint or diner, nothing more, nothing less. L.A. better get a grip, Claim Jumper? and Outback? as top 5 steak houses. You people are pathetic.

Recently ate there,last time was 15 years ago. there food is now below lunch wagon quality. Their chicken fried steak was $16.00 and washorable.The steak was tough,breading had so much paprika in it,it left a nasty taste in your mouth,apitizers were dry,tastless and bland.Thier calamari was even tastless. Norm's belive it or not has a excellent chicken fried steak dinner for $8.00 more

Great piña coladassssss 8/3/2005

If you want the best pña coladas and the most tasteful bbq ribs. You have to go to this restaurant. They are so good that you don't want to stop eating and drinking them. Their happy hour is the best but it is pack on Fridays. It is expensive but I do believe they are really worth it. I will defenitely tell everybody to least go one time to try them. more

A great date restaurant--especially if you're hungry! 7/28/2005

The atmosphere of Claim Jumper is something akin to a watering hole that a cowboy would mosey on down to. You get the whole western vibe and feel from the furniture, the motifs, the walls, EVERYTHING just screams you are in the Old West. They're barbecue is simply amazing. The portions are huge and a single entree is entirely capable of stuffing two people to the maximum level. They also have a huge selection of steaks and wines, adding a level of high class to the place. Just an all around great establishment. more
