A little surprised nobody has written a review on this little whole in the wall yet. Located in Downtown Torrance it is a true treasure. Lots and lots of cool stuff to look at. Never had to pawn something so don't know about that but you can surely find some deals here of all kids of stuff!

This is mainly a mail order business. You can special order items like watches, necklaces, etc. with your child's or children's names on it. I've had my watch for a long time and I still get compliments on it. Very unique gifts!

I was shopping in the Del Amo mall one evening and I wondered into this jewerly store with a friend.
Just so happened my wedding ring was purchased from this store under another name. I have since then been divorced and have no use for the ring. I was informed by Lourders Palacious- Goodbar that can upgrade to another ring or something more to my liking.
Oh my goodness! This is great news!
I no longer have the receipt so I will probably have to have it priced at market value.
Off with the old and on with the new.
I'm SOOOOOOO excited!

Morgan's Jewelers has been around longer than I have been alive. Morgan;s jewelers is wonderful place to go to for fantastic and original jewelry. There newly decorated showroom is worth the visit just to browse around. Their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

The only reason that you should visit Robbins Brothers is to see a lot of styles, all in one place, before you go to find something comparable for much, much cheaper elsewhere. Do not expect to have consistent, competent, or well-informed service. When picking out our engagment ring last year, my fiance and I were passed off between three different people, all of whom told us different (and contradictory) things about the rings. When we attempted to follow up on purchasing one of the rings, they were terrible about returning calls or e-mails. The thing that was so laughable about the whole experience was how they talked up the "wonderful experience"they were trying to create at their store, and how they treat everyone like "family". Eventually, my fiance ordered a beautiful ring elsewhere that was almost exactly the setting that Robbins Brothers had offered, with almost .25 carats more in terms of diamonds-- for almost $1500 less. Not learning from past experience, we went to Robbins Brothers to look for wedding bands yesterday. Again, we were passed off between several people, and once again, we were given a number of contradictory pieces of information. When we got home, empty-handed (thank goodness, it turns out!), I was able to find the exact same ring for him for $400 less on-line, with a guarentee that the ring would arrive in plenty of time-- this when the Robbins Brothers people told us there was absolutely no way they could have it here in two months. We are still looking for my band, but I can tell you where we are NOT going to be getting it-- the Robbins Brothers in Torrance!
Pros: big selection
Cons: poor customer service, salespeople who provide incorrect information, high prices for the quality
