This is such an improvement from the old tooele pool, My husband loves to swim laps while the kids play on the slides,the lazy river, and a fun play center. There are two sizes of diving boards, it tends to get crowded, the life guards love to blow their whistles at everything.It is very reasonably priced, In the locker rooms you must bring your own lock and they have areas where you can have birthday parties, and after hour parties.

I really like Hollywood Video. I love that they are always 5 day rentals. Not some 2 and some 3 day. That just gets to confusing in a busy day. The staff at Hollywood is so helpful. And, they never mind checking the box for you if the title you are looking for is not on the shelf. They don't even mind if you dig through the returns that they haven't gotten put back up yet, in fact they have even made it "dig friendly" by putting them at the end of their counter for you to browse. I also love that they give rain checks for the guaranteed movies in stock. I have never had problems getting or using a rain check. We have bought their previously viewed movies with great luck! I would highly recommend this video store over any other in town.

Tooele Cinema 6 is a modern, well-kept movie theater. They have a good selection of movies, and their admission prices are reasonable. Their popcorn used to have a funny flavor, but they must have changed the butter because now it is wonderful. Periodically a movie they are running will have glitches, such as low volume, fuzzy picture, etc., but usually a quick trip to an employee will have it solved soon.

I agree that this theater has been in tooele forever, It has huge lights that go around the screen until the movie starts that freaked us out. It is a very thin theatre maybe 8-10 seats per row and then about 100 rows. Its bathroom is something out of the dark ages, But its a mom and pop theatre that diffently has a hometown feel, they have inexpensive kids treats and kids meal popcorns that are great, I would like to see if go to a dollar movie theatre though, this town really isnt big enough for two theatres they dont get alot of business

This drive-in theater reminds me of the drive-ins of years past. The movies start about dusk, and usually a kids feature and then an adult feature is shown. They have a snack bar, with popcorn and treats, and restrooms if needed. In May and September they have “from dusk to dawn”, where they show movies all night long! It is fun to take the kids and relax in the van or truck in a nice family environment.

Trilobyte is a local internet provider in Tooele. I used their dial-up service. Anytime I had questions, they were very nice, even though I am very computer illiterate. Their service was reliable and I wasn’t disconnected. They have greatly expanded their services since then, and now offer DSL connections, web page design, and other computer services.

My husband and friends golf at this course several times a year. They say that the prices are very reasonable ($14 for a weekend w/cart) and that the greens are kept up nicely. There is a very small clubhouse (trailer) with snacks and a few supplies. It is fairly easy to get a tee time, but make sure to allow a little extra time to drive on the dirt road to get out there.

Buddy’s Bowling is new to Tooele. They have many fun activities at the bowling alley – restaurant, climbing wall, video games, ice cream, and of course, a bowling alley. Their bowling system is state of the art. They have automatic bumpers for the kids, and fun different theme nights. They also have different bowling leagues to join. We took our family on a weekend night. It was very fun, but very expensive. We probably will only go once or twice a year.

Okay, here's the scoop! I really like the convenience of the Red Box. I love that I can just browse and buy in 1 easy step. I also love that it's at McDonalds! :) But, the only down side is when this machine goes down you are still charged late fees. This is the only glich that I found unreasonable about this system. We rented 2 movies and when we went to return them there was a message on the screen to the effect that it was temporarily down and would be up soon. Well, I checked every day for 3 days, and I was charged late fees on those movies. That was the only disappointment of this system. But, on the upside they do send out electronic coupons to use. This is great we get at least 1 free rental a month! You won't find that at the big video chains. I recommend to anyone to at least try the red box once!!!
