Jackson Arms is a good, centrally located indoor range here in the Bay Area. They rent a full range of equipment. They are usually willing to offer tips/suggestions, and the people who use the facility have always been friendly. They also sell equipment as well.
PROS: good location
CONS: to rent... you must bring someone with you. no single renters

Great place to buy golf supplies for the ideal golfer. They have many clubs and golf balls to choose from. If you are not an experienced golfer and need assistance, the staff is friendly and helpful in guiding you to be the next Tiger Woods. They have plenty of parking and open early and close late. They also have great discounts on tee green fees and driving ranges. Great place to check out for the golfer inside of you.

I really liked this shooting range because they emphasized safety, welcomed women, provided classes, gun rental and ammo sales. Even though I've used their shooting range, I'd love to take one of their classes soon to improve my skills. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the retail center was well stocked with reasonable prices.

Brentwood Bowl is lcoated right on El Camino Real a block or two away from Tanforan Mall. They have parking spaces available in the rear and you can't miss the place with the huge sign on the wall of it. I've been here so many times when I was younger and it hasn't changed much since my last visit. The lanes are descent and the prices are reasonable. Service is good at the counter but it's not much of a social place to meet people. I like the place because it's really clean and they have video games for the kids too.
