Sandwich Mini Golf is a really cute family run mini golf course. It is built on former Marshland and there are a lot of water holes along the course. The Cape Cod Railway goes by right behind the course. My family loves to go here off season. During the summer it can be very busy. The family that owns it is very nice.

Sandwich, MA is known for it's hand blown glass. You can learn about the history of blown glass. I brought my 2 sons but I thought it might be boring. All three of us loved it. There is a lot of cool hand blown glass on display and you can watch a glass blowing demonstration. It is very affordable. It is only $3.50 for adults and $1.00 for children.

The Giving Tree Gallery is an excellent place to go to find unique gifts on the Cape. They have excellent handcrafted jewelry and artistic finds that will make you want to make purchases for yourself as well. The unusual finds are never too trendy, but are beautiful. They're a little pricey, but if you're stuck in traffic to or from the cape this store can be the perfect diversion to lift your spirits.

The Dexter Grist Mill was built in 1646. It is still a working mill that grinds corn. It is a very small mill that is located in the beautiful historic part of Sandwich right on Shawme Pond. The admission is very inexpensive. You can go in and watch them grind the corn. You can also buy a very nice cloth bag full of fresh ground corn to cook with. It is very relaxing to be in this part of town. The people who work at the mill have told us cool stories about the history of the mill.

This is a great, tucked away theater for movies. It gets busy on the weekends and rainy days in the summer - but most times you can still get great seats without arriving too early. Still a bit of a cheaper theater as well - $8 for night time. Matinees are great, and very nice for going to the movies alone, as they are never crowded. Abundent parking, and Tomatoes restaurant is in the same plaza - great for dinner & a movie!
