Chakra is one of the nicest restaurants in NJ; the lounge in beatiful andcomfortable, with the best drink prices in town. The food is superb and the decor is breathtaking. You will not be disapointed

Superb food, always large portions. Lobster is on the menut as two 1 1/4 lb, they give you THREE always. Prime rib is the best I've ever had. One person is unable to eat all of it. The wait staff is ok, a few have attitudes but other than that I give them 5 stars for their food.
Consider splitting a meal of prime rib or their steaks as they are massive yet delicious. ($5 plate share charge.)
Sunday nights are better than Fri or Sat, a short wait if any.
I recommend the Lobster, Prime Rib and appetizers in garlic sauce. No potatos, their own fried chips. If you love a baked potato you won't get it there. I don't care but have a stepdad that does.
A nice salad is included with any entree, something I find rare in some of the better Bergen County restaurants today.

This is a fantastic store!! Far different from all the regular big box stores where you can find everything. This is a store specializing in Kitchen items. Everything from a turkey baster to the best knives to the coolest new gadgets for your kitchen. They often have cooking classes and demos where you can learn all new exciting recipes and other information. They have everything you can want. They also have a great selection of spices and dips and anything else you might need to throw the perfect party. And they have a great selection of wine and everyday kitchen needs like plates and hand towels. They also have a fantastic clearance selection in the back right corner.

Of all the diners in North Jersey, I'd have to say that this is one of my favorites. As a good diner should, there is just about everything imaginable on the menu - I still have no idea how they can cook all that stuff if it's not ordered frequently. The food is pretty good, and the wait staff is always friendly. The only bad part about the diner is sitting too close to the smoking section, as it really can get to be bothersome if you don't enjoy smoke.

This store is located in the same lot as Dunkin Donuts on Rt 17. They always have well stocked shelves. If you don't see what you need the associate can usually get it for you from their stash above the shelf or they will tell you what day it is coming in. All the character party supplies are always 50% off but we like the value packs. Can't beat .99 for 20 party plates! The staff is helpful and takes returns with no problem, even without a receipt. Plenty of parking. Carts and baskets available. Be sure to check out the sales flier.

This On The Border is located in the Garden State Plaza Mall but has it's own parking lot. It does get busy so you may have to search a little bit for a parking spot. There can be a long wait on weekends. There are tables in the bar and you can have dinner there. Food is always good and portions are a nice size. Wait staff is friendly and quick. However, for some reason they will not bring out a kid's meal early. I have requested that my child's meal be brought out with the appetizers and they say "the computer will not let them request a dinner early they all get done together". Umm, how about telling the cook with your mouth? Always free chips and salsa on the table.

If your looking for a fun, relaxing, moderately priced restaurant for the family, I would recommend Ruby Tuesday. They welcome small children and babies, they have a great selection of well prepared food items, they offer kids meals, they have good tasting, origianal menu selections, and all at a good price. We've gone to other restaurants but only seems to come back to Ruby Tuesday over and over. Whether it is a great burger, a salad bar, sandwiches, chicken, beef, or seafood dish, or the fajitas, we are always pleased with what we are served. The kids have a great choice and are always happy with their foods. The atmosphere is warm and fiendly. There is a bar area, memorabilia all over, tvs in different locations, just a nice friendly atmosphere. Better than other chains by far.

The Fireplace has been around since 1956 and not much has changed. The place is a throwback to days gone by and people who frequent the spot like it just that way. Located on busy Route 17 in Paramus--you'll have to look for it so you don't pass the driveway.
Nothing fancy here. Simple food, cooked to your order and promptly served. You place your order at a long counter up front and wait for it to be served on a tray. Find a seat in one of the large dining rooms and you're set. Families can eat here and not break their wallets.
Favorites include cheese burgers, sliced steak sandwiches, Philly cheese steaks, roast book or chicken salad sandwiches, french fries & onion rings. I like their milkshakes which are thick and creamy. Fireplace also has pizza and chicken and all food is available for take-out.
Fireplace serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (opens at 6:30 in the AM).

This restaurant is delicious. I highly recommend the steak fajitas with the salsa. The chips are "ok" but with the salsa, it is very good. Basically the salsa makes almost everything. The service is average and the ambience is good. If you love mexican food, then this restaurant is perfect for you, don't forget the salsa!

I have been to the Suburban diner several times and I love the food and service. On my latest visit, my waitress, Peggy, was incredible! She was very attentive and her service was immaculate! The diner is open 24 hours a day and offers a very diverse menu! Their prices are very reasonable, too!
