Art Van Furniture

I have purchased several items from Art Van and I am really disappointed in the quality of their products. First of all I purchased a dining room set from the Steve Yzerman collection and the finish is discoloring over the years. I have called Art Van and they will not fix the problem, they will only send one of their men out to look at it and give you a price to have it refinished. I paid over 2,000 for this dining room set and after one year its finish is terrible looking on the table and all the chairs. It looks like someone took bleach to the finish. I also used there products that they sold me at the time of purchase to supposably protect the product. I also bought a build a bear loft bed that has been falling apart since day one. The wood is cheap and has cracks all over. The dresser leg broke and the dresser fell over. You can put anything on top of the dresser or desk because it discolors the wood. The drawers on the bed and the dresser dont stay closed and Ive had service calls and they still havent fixed the problem. I paid $1700 for this bedroom set and it is a piece of crap that they wont and cant fix. Its been discontinued for a reason unfortunately I wasted my money before it was discontinued. more

We needed a reputable furniture store in this area and I am delighted that they moved in. Relatively new. They are located just south of Kmart right before 23 Mile on Gratiot. Hugh lighted parking lot that is very difficult to miss. They have gorgeous furniture and a nice clearance center. Steve Yzerman from the Detroit Red Wings has a line of furniture only offered through Art Vans. It has more of a comtemporary look but I am sure that most will go for the name associated with the set. Art Van's also has a website where you can shop online. The drawback being that they don't show the clearance center online. more
