There is a little burger place in Meriden that I went to called Ted's famous steamed burgers which serves just that. The burgers that are absolutely succulent are steamed in a stove top steamer invented by the owner. I also had a steamed hot dog which was the juiciest hot dog i have ever eaten. I highly recommend this place. You have to bring your own champaigne as they serve only soda. Like Loui's and Yankee Doodle this place has had significant media exposure.

I saw the story about the best hamburgers in the country and tried Louie's Lunch first, (closer to my house) but Ted's was MUCH better!!! Better burger, faster service, half the price, and nicer people - both working there and customers!! It is a small place but I was offered space in a booth with another customer, and we all had a great lunch!!!! I will be going back there!!!
Pros: easy street parking

Everything is wonderful in this coffeshop...I couldnt wait for the one to open up in Waterbury...Wonderful service in Meriden...such friendly staff...clean and inviting...always packed too!!! the soups are the best...such yummy desserts and bagels...

My teenage daughters won't go any place else. Love Eliza, they've sent all their friends. The prices aren't bad. It all depends on what you're having done. They get a hair cut for about $15.00 and eyebrows waxed for about $8.00

I bought my wedding dress at Christi-Anne's a few years ago. Not only did I find the perfect dress a great price, but the staff there couldn't have treated me any better. They were so helpful, friendly, and made the whole experience a lot of fun. I like that it is a small, local, friendly shop. I would highly recommend Christi-Anne's to anyone.

I never waited so long in my life! To have tires put on I sat there for 4 hours after my appointment. Not only that the waiting area was dirty and barely tolerable. They really need to clean it and put a book out or something! The pricing was a bit high, the prices weren't worth the service

I have purchased my last 3 set of tires from GT Tire and Service Center. I have previously purchased tired from the larger stores, but did not have the level of attention that GT provided. Their prices were comparable to the larger stores so as far as my experience is concerned, it gave me the same price with more personalized experience. I strongly recommend them to anyone in the Meriden area looking for tires.

We went there because I had terrible nosebleeds to the point of needing Emergency Room Care. They did the procedure and I had problems with it afterwards. They didn't want to know anything! I would call and be dismissed or told the doctor will call me back to never hear from him. After a few months of this I gave up and went someplace else who had to redo the procedure that I had at this office!
