I had lots of faves and still do. The best candybar back in the 60's was (and possibly still is) Hershey's with Almonds bar. Deelish! Then there were those goofy waxy wacky lips, pixy stix, good 'n plenty, milk duds (only at the movies!) and peanut mary janes. I wasn't too crazy about red hots and jawbreakers. Remember Bazooka Bubble Gum with the comic on the inner wrapper?? And, I think it was called Whammo or Blammo Gum and candy dots.

I have always had a wonderful experience in this store. The people are very pleasant and friendly. I wanted to upsize my wife's wedding ring stone and they did the job expeditiously! We've had no problem with the ring, it was done professionally and inexpensive. They fixed my watches, bracelets and necklaces. I will always go back to this store.

The Old Cracker Barrel Country Store is fantastic. They are located at 3820 Wards Rd in Lynchburg. The first thing I noticed when I got here was the parking. It was great. I got a spot close to the building, and that was cool. Besides being a store, it's a restaurant. They are both well-maintained, and I like it a lot. They have old fashioned games and rocking chairs outside if you must wait on your table. We waited inside, though, but the wait time was not long. Food was great. I love this restaurant.

Great clean environment. Kids love going there to look at the fun books and things they have in the kids section. Storytime is great as well!
Nothing like spending an hour looking for your next getaway!

We ordered our wedding inviations here and were very pleased. They had a huge catelog to choose from and the ordering process was very easy.
They came in on time when they said they would be and the quality was better than we were expecting and everything was correct.
I would go there again if I needed to have more professional invitations etc done again.

Givens Books is a wonderful little book store. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for something particular that you can't find, they are more than willing to order it. However, the best thing about this store is that you don't have to leave the kids at home. They have a play area set up with train sets, which keeps the children busy and entertained while you are free to browse and shop.

This store saved us, the night before Halloween when my tearful 3 year old exclaimed I don't wanna be a cowboy, they scare me, then refused to wear his costume. So we rushed to Factory Card Outlet (which was a madhouse) and searched for a tellatubbie costume. The staff was kind, they had tons of costumes on clearence, and they had the madness well orginized using walkie talkies. This was a very satisfactory experience!
PROS: Well orginized, decent prices
