In Spring 2011, I hired Shirey Handyman to perform numerous fixes to my home in Kirkland, WA. Shane Smith was my main contact, and organized a team to complete these services. I was so pleased with the work the team did and the support of Shane Smith. At one point, Shane said, "My job is to make your life easier," and that is what he did. He provided advice as to options to take on various projects, so I could choose the best approach for me to updating my home. When he found additional issues that needed to be taken care of, he came to me right away to discuss it. The professionalism of Shane and the entire Shirey team was amazing! I've used handyman services before, and Shirey is the most professional team I've ever dealt with. Work was not something to delay, but something to hit hard and complete quickly but correctly. There was no shirking of duties or slacking on doing the work right. In fact, I told Shane once that Shirey should use the line, "We do it right" as a motto. I have asked Shane for business cards so I could give them to my neighbors and friends. I have told numerous people that if they ever need a handyman to use Shirey. Shane is also friendly and I felt very comfortable having him and his team in my home. Please, hire Shirey and hire Shane to help make your life easier! You won't be dissapointed.

We called Shirey handyman service to hang a light fixture. They wouldn't quote a price over the phone. When the handyman arrived, he asked how high the ceilings were then looked up the price in a book - nearly $300 to hang a light! I said it was too expensive so he charged me the $50 appearance fee, which is a total rip-off! I'm sure he, or whoever answered the phone, had that same book in front of them before I scheduled the appt. They withheld the price so he'd have to come out and be sure to get $50!

Great Company! Shirey has done an excellent job on everything I hired them to do. I used them for completing some trim work, hanging doors, painting, removing wallpaper, and some other small repair jobs. Their staff arrived ready to work, with all of the tools and equipment needed for the job. They worked fast and cleaned up after themselves. FYI, Shirey is also a commercial contractor and does bigger jobs too. I chose them for my handyman work because of my past experience with them in commercial real estate, where they also have a stellar reputation.
