If you love baseball like i do and are tired of paying twenty dollars a ticket or more at the rangers games this is the plave to go. The ticktets and food is inexpesive. You sit up close. Instead of sixty rows back. The Fort Worth Cats is a great baseball team. After the game you can get autographs from the friendly players. If you love baseball and want your whole family to be able to come this is a great place for just that.

I like this pool hall because I can always get a table. They serve some food items and drinks. They keep the place pretty clean and the tables well maintained. Service is pretty good too. There is a smoking side if you smoke or the non smoking side, but you can still smell some smoke.

During the NHL lockout last season, hockey starved fans turned towards local minor league teams to get their fix. Fans in the Dallas/Fort Worth area turned to the Fort Worth Brahmas of the Central Hockey League.
Yes, it's minor league hockey, which means the quality of play is significantly below that of the NHL. But with tickets in the $10 to $25 range, the Brahams are a very economical option. Plus, you can expect some zany in-game and between period promotions that in many ways, are worth the price of admission all by themselves.

I couldn't possibly feel like a Texan until I'd gotten a chance to go to a rodeo. Of course Fort Worth has one every Friday and Saturday night in the Cowtown Coliseum.
The rodeo features bull riding, barrel racing, roping, and mutton busting. The best part of the night was the rodeo clowns, although it isn't the same crew every time and some are better than others. It's a great place to take children. The mutton busting allows a whole crew of toddlers to go chasing after one poor sheep with a flag tied to its ear.
The pageantry and novelty of it made for a great, unusual night, although toward the end it did become too much of the same. I'm sure that, like with any sport, if you're into the details it would never become boring.
A second trip to the rodeo was not nearly as fun as the first. I started to notice how uncomfortable the seats were and how much dung actually smells.
