One of the best pizza places, Ness Pizza, lies in the heart of one of Fair Lawns's busiest streets. If you are looking for a nice and comfortable place to eat, then surely you must try out this pizzeria. They have the BEST thin crust pizza that i have ever had. If you are in the neighborhood, it is almost essential that you stop by. They also have some of the best canoles around. One of the best pizza places that i have ever been to.

Great take-out restaurant! Amazing food, great prices, can't beat it. Their lunch specials are inexpensive and they definitely do not skimp on their portions. I think this is one of the best Chinese take-out restaurants in all of northern NJ.

Dined at Oceanos for Mother's Day. The cuisine is Seafood/Mediterranean. What a feast! The service..outstanding! Pricey? Looking at the menu, we had a slight case of sticker shock, but once you factor in portion sizes, the prices are not so bad. You get a lot of food for your money. Soooo worth it! We were a party of 3. We ordered alcohol (1 drink ea), 2 appetizers, 3 entrees, 2 desserts and 1 coffee, 1 tea and 1 specialty coffee. The total came to about $180, +tip.
The restaurant is located in a residential area. Valet parking service (that's the norm on weekends). Restaurant is dimly lit. Check in with the maitre d'. Main room is to the left and extends into a smaller, more narrow back room and then there's another dining room to the right of the maitre d'. The room to the right appeared to be a little more brightly lit. The room had more windows or it was a smaller room so the daylight filled the room more. Reservations recommended, but you can also walk in. I made my reservation through Open Table.
So, this meal was out with my family, a small party of 3. We arrived 30 minutes earlier than our reservation. Not a problem, we were seated right away. Restaurant was super busy for Mother's Day. We were seated in the smaller, more narrow room in back. Which was fine with us. It was a little bit quieter than the main room. Plus, the main room was crowded in the sense that there wasn't much room between tables. From start to finish, the wait staff was very attentive, checking on us often to see if we needed anything. They were not overly attentive. They didn't give us that feeling of being rushed like some restaurants can be when they are busy. Our waiter, Walter, was good with making recommendations and answering any questions we had about the menu. The delivery of food, with regards to timing, was also very good. I absolutely love this place! The food is always amazing. I especially like how with anything you order something comes with it. Like fries and for dinner orders any piece of cake you want. What else could you ask for. The service and atmosphere is good. THe people are so friendly. The food too is cheap for the amount of food they give.

I was desperately looking for a good salad place in NJ. I find that most restaurants heavily rely on using cheese or meat in preparing their salads. Their reliance causes their salads to be mediocre at best once you remove the animal products. I googled salads in NJ and Good Times came up! My partner and I decided to go and we were very impressed.
1) Ambience - excellent. It has dim lighting but not dim enough to make your eyes hurt. There is soft music playing in the background so you can hear yourself think. The seats are comfortable and the decorations are tasteful and appropriate.
2) Service - Excellent: The service was amazing. The waitstaff knew if there were animal products in the dishes. Most of the dishes obviously had meat products (as can be expected). However, when I inquired about the soup they knew immediately that there was chicken stock. I didn't even have to ask once I told them I was vegan. They were prompt, thoughtful, and subtle. They do their job without getting in the way.
3) Food - So, because I am vegan, I got the 13 ingredient chopped salad...I HIGHLY recommend it if you are a salad fan. There are chick peas, cucumbers, red onions, kalamata olives, tomatoes, parsley, capers, celery, lettuce, and some other ingredients I can't remember, all chopped. They also serve the salad with Feta cheese. You can request them not to include it. It comes with a delicious balsamic vinaigrette. They also provide delicious olive bread, and pumpernickel bread with raisins. I also got the grilled vegetable wrap with portabello mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, peppers, and zucchini. It comes with mozzarella but I did not get that. It was fantastic! Sometimes I get tired of veggie burgers or stir fries. If you're tired too, the salad and the wrap might do it for you!
Non vegan options are available too! I bet they are good if there vegan stuff rocks!
