Monarch Dental

I found the entire staff to be personable and professional. The front desk ran smooth and each of the medical staff supporting the dentists were likewise friendly and competent. I was referred to Dr. Sandya Narayan by a former patient of hers and I have been extremely impressed. Not only by her professional skills, but also by the way in which she and each member of the staff made me feel as if I was the only patient they were seeing on the day of my visit. The entire experience was in stark contrast to that of other dentists I've frequented in the past. I have honestly found my visits enjoyable. more

My experience was not at all what I expected, I had used a dentist for 25 years and when my insurance changed and I went in to a the DMO I was concerned that the personal feel would be lost. This is not the case I would recommend your practice to anyone. more

I am very happy with the service I received from the staff at Monarch Dental. They are all very accommodating and sensitive to my dental needs. I previously went to another dentists office and had such terrible service that I didn't go to the dentist for 3 years until I had to. I went to Monarch during the holidays and they fit me in. I went and they told me I have several thousands of dollars of work that needed to be completed. They charged me 322 dollars to get mine and my daughter's xrays and then after I decided not to go with them billed me for an additional 100 dollars. I have tried to get detailed billing from them and it looks like they are double charging me but they say that they are not. I am very disappointed because I had great expectations when I went there. I thought theire "brand" name would actually mean something. more

I have no dental insurance and went to monarch dental for my toothache. They were able to see me on the same day i called to treat my pain. They offered me a discount for my first appoint as a cash patient without insurance and worked out a payment plan for me with additional discounts for paying out of pocket instead since i have no insurance. After being prescribed pain killers and antibiotics on my first visit (that relieved my pain) I came back the next day to have my tooth pulled. They really worked with me to help me afford treatment. i have never had a cavity, braces, anything wrong with my teeth. i go to monarch and i suddenly have 8 cavities and they want to fill them before i even get a cleaning(the reason i went in the 1st place) i let them fill 4 even though i shouldnt have, then went to 2 other dentist where they said nothing about any cavities. they charged me for something my insurance didnt even cover and said its part of there policy! BS! and now after spending $400 i just recieved a bill from them 2 days ago, billing me for the 4 other teeth they never filled. i have tried to call and find out whats going on and ive gotten the answerring machine for the past 2 days. hmmm maybe someone shut them down for taking advantage of their customers. i hope so!!!! more

Parents please read!! This was the second and last time i will ever visit monarch dental , the "permanent" crown that they had put on my sons tooth fell after 2 days , this with him eating liquids and soup because of the new crown , after i went back the next monday so they could get another crown for his tooth they wrote down on the sheet that he had "chewy" candy and it was the reason why it fell , and after a few minutes of them TRYING to put another crown back on his tooth they decided that he had to go to a "specialist" , the problem was that we could not get an appointment for almost a month , i guess i just had to see my boy suffer and cry for 30 days because of the piss poor job done at Monarch dental , but of course this is something they ( or the insurance company) dont care about , instead of trying again they just basically kicked my wife and my crying son out of the office , my son had to endure them grinding on his tooth without any local or nitrous just to be told that he had to see a specialist after they figured out they screwed up his tooth .. Another issue is the lack of communication , seems like everyone ( at monrach dental) has their own version of why they could not attach his crown back on his tooth .. I will absolutely NEVER go back to monarch dental .... more

Went to the Ft. Worth office for a root canal. It was a total white knuckle experience, with the DDS injecting me 12 times to try and numb me before calling it quits and putting a temporary crown on. The DDS I saw 2 years later said that amount of local could have given me a heart attack. Do not go to any Monarch office. more

I have great teeth, never had any work nor do I need any. Just went there for a cleaning and they told me I need 999.00 in procedures before they could do the cleaning...they wanted to rip me off. I wouldn't recommend them. It seemed like they are just looking to make money somehow. more

Monarch in Richardson, TX is HORRIBLE! They charged me $1554 for work that cost $600 @ another dentist. Then they charged me another $718 in work that I never approved. RUDE staff, lying racket, numbing agent did not work. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! more

I have possibly had the worst dental experience of my life. I made an appointment at the Green Oaks/Fort Worth office. The dentist that saw me--Dr. Algaissi was possibly the rudest person that I have ever met. I was a new patient, but he did not introduce himself. He talked to me for a mere minute or two and then went on his way offering me no information about my tooth. Don't go here...if you are paying good money for dental insurance and want a even a small amout of courtesy at all, find another dentist. more

I have never had a worse experience at the dentist, and I was just there for a cleaning!! It was the most awful experience - right from the start. The office is in need of some "sprucing up" for sure and then when I went back into the chair, the hygenist was so rough I was almost crying - needless to say, my teeth hurt for about a week after that - and I'm a regular dental patient, so it wasnt like there were a lot of problems. They were just inadequate. I saw the dentist for like 2 minutes, and she didnt add anything to my visit. My husband went and they didnt say anything to him about cavities, yet the next time he went to the NEW dentist (not even 6 months later) he needed 3 crowns??? Do not go to Monarch Dental - the convenient locations and them being on every dental plan is just not worth it. more
