I am the mother of three current River Homelink Students and I created an account just to second the first review here. I cannot begin to explain the warm inviting atmosphere that is a part of this school's typical day. River Homelink is a K-12 Parent Partnered program that services students in a multi-city area. Currently there are close to 500 students attending and anywhere from 25-50 parents on campus at any given time. In a homeschooling rut? It's great to see how the public schools are meeting the demand of the growing community of homeschoolers. The Battle Ground School District has an alternative program in the Camas/Washougal area geared toward homeschoolers. Parents are required/encouraged to attend classes with their children. A variety of classes are offered by both credited teachers and by parents who have special talents/skills to share with others. This is not the typical school setting. Students can pick and choose as little as 1 class to attend. River Homelink also offers off-site enrichment classes such as ice skating, PE at the YMCA, dance, and piano. It's a great place for homeschoolers to meet and interact with others.
