Did I Mention How Low Their Prices ARE!! 4/5/2010

I just drove home in my new Honda Accord and I still can't believe my deal. This is my fourth purchase of a new car from Willey Honda. Here's why. Thirteen years ago I was trying to make a deal for a new car with the other Salt Lake Honda dealers, both downtown and in Murray (not going to name names) but they now have Honda dealerships in Ogden, Provo, Boise and one that they didn't use their name on but two Jazz Basketball players names. They showed the same old technique, A group of salesmen standing by the front door break one from the pack and he comes at you and if you tell him that you are just looking he won't leave you alone until you leave the lot. If you do manage to find the car, color, etc you like then the Offer/Counter-offer dance begins. ""I need to check with the manager"", ""What can I do to put you in a new car today?"" ""I will take your counter-offer to the manager but I don't think it will be accepted, could you come up a little"". Oh and my perennial favorite, the price starts to move after you get up to leave. I was mid-deal for a Civic with one of these guy when he came back with the ""Sales Manager"" and they took $250.00 off their offer and expected me to add $1250.00 to mine --B.S.-- and I left I heard a radio ad for Willey and ""One Fair Price"" and thought I would give it a shot. I walked onto the lot the first time and each car had a price in the window (Not the infamous DEALER STICKER adding thousands to the Factory sticker) but hanging from the mirror was the price you will pay. A salesman walked up and I told him I was just looking and he explained the ""One Fair Price"" premise and said if I had any questions he would be inside. WHAT WAS THIS he was leaving me alone in the lot?? I found an Accord that was $500.00 more than my offer for the Civic and I stepped inside and asked him why it was lower than the dealer offer for the Civic in Salt Lake and he said that was how Willey did business. I bought it that afternoon without all the pressure that I had become accustomed to. Today?s purchase was just like the previous three. NO HASSLE-NO PRESSURE and best of all I didn?t help finance (Through a higher price paid) the growth of the wrong kind of dealer. Pros: Want you to be satisfied with your purchase Cons: 15 minute drive to Bountiful more
