I just bought a puppy there over the weekend and she had ear mites. My puppy also has a scar from where the employees left the collar on too tight. I knew I shouldn't buy the pup from there but I just could not leave her there, she had already been there for 2 months. Be very careful, the Assist store manager is very shady and he has not clue how to take care of theses puppies. more

Puppy mill ! 7/5/2011

Look at how many people got a sick dog from this place. (I don't care how 'nice' they were about it.)On their website they claim they don't get puppies form puppy mills. If you believe that, then I've got a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell you really cheap!! Don't take their word for it, get the name of this ""reputable"" breeder, then check it out with the ASPCA. ALL pet shops that sell puppies get them from puppy mills and support these hell holes. Go to 'Youtube' , watch just even one video about puppy mills;google 'puppy mills' , read 1 article, then see if you want to 'buy' that doggie in the window more

Don't buy a dog here 3/8/2011

They sold me a VERY sick puppy; she had advanced pneumonia. We had so spend a lot of time and money to get her well, in addition to the agony of watching the poor baby suffer horribly. They lied and told me she was perfectly healthy. Disgusting. more

great puppy 6/12/2010

Pet City sold us a wonderful puppy 6 years agol .Llapso Apso and Poodle mix. He is intelligent, well behaved, funny and cutest of cute. He had kennel cough, and they paid every bill and it was fairly expensive for them. We did have to go across town, but it was a very highend professional vet service. They even gave my puppy inhalant treatments. I was treated very well, the puppy came thru it, and I would absolutely buy another pet there. We were treated very well, and did not have to spend a dime of our own money for treatment of our puppy. Diana Valencia Pros: integrity Cons: too much pressure to buy more

Nice people and got a good puppy 12/17/2009

I had asked a friend who got a puppy from them years ago if she would go back, and she said yes. So I went and looked at the puppies. They answered all my questions and were very nice. I picked out a nice puppy and they helped me find the right food and toys. She is a happy healthy puppy and I would go back again. Pros: Nice people and answered all my questions more

Do not buy their dogs 3/10/2009

I recently bought a puppy from the pet city in westminister mall i paid 1000 for her. Prior 2 purchasing i asked if she had health problems was told no. I took her to a vet they sent me 2 mentioned she was sneezing and was told it was nothing. Two days later my dog was having trouble breathing i paged the vet gnt no call back and ended up in the er wit her. She had 2 seizures one stroke and was all due to an upper respitory infection. Pet city refuses 2pay the bill cause i didnt take her back to their vet even tho he never called back more

dont buy your dog here 9/18/2007

The people at this store in Aurora Co. sold my little sister a dog at the cost of $500.00. They told her to ignore the fact that the dog was coughing that it had already been treated. Less than 24 hours after leaving the store this dog was nearly dead diagnosed with advanced phemonia. They chose to ignore this dog and left it to die or to be sold. We have had huge medical bills and hours of heartbreak trying to save this poor animal and Pet City assumes no responsibilty! They neglect anaimals in their stores and worse they lie to customers about the condition of sick animals to make a buck. Avoid this store at all costs you will be greatful that you did. more
