Zenergize Wellness Spa

A lot has obviously changed since 5 years ago.\r \r I read the positive reviews from years ago, thinking this would be a great place to take my mom for Mothers Day. The place is horrible. The location is awful. My gut told me to run away when I arrived there and saw the place. The guy who sits at the front desk (which is the owner, Mat) is very rude! I wish I had read the previous review before coming to this place. The customer service (what customer service???) was the absolute WORST I've ever experienced. \r \r If you purchased a Groupon or pre-paid and have to reschedule, they will take your money and deny you services! Sounds like a scam place, huh? They don't feel one ounce of remorse about it. The owner is an old racist bully. \r \r Very odd behavior, being that this is suppose to be a place of relaxation. \r more

I decided to use a groupon to come to Zenergize the day before Valentine's Day because I had read such great reviews about this place however the customer service here was the worst I ever experienced. I called to make sure they had availability before securing my groupon deal and they proceeded to tell me not to go through groupon, that they would just give me the discounted rate. This was the first red flag. No upstanding business should try to cheat groupon out of their percentage when it was because of goupon 's advertising that I even found this place to begin with.\r \r Secondly, my boyfriend ended up getting into an accident right before our appointment time. I called to let them know what had happened and if I could just reschedule because we would not make the appt on time because of unforeseen circumstances that were out of our control. They assured me it was fine and to just come on. They later called be back, complaining that it was taking me too long to get there. We literally sat on the phone going back and forth for almost 5 mins because they should not have told us they understood the situation and they would make provisions for us before I even started on my way when that was not really what they planned to do. And being extremely rude about the whole situation was totally uncalled for. Finally, I told them I was down the street and they agreed to go on and see us. \r \r In addition to the rude and unprofessional manner they handled us over the phone, they also proceeded to lead us to separate rooms to get massages when they had already upcharged me for the couples massage. I then complained about that, and they unapologetically accommodated us. As we sat waiting for them to correct their oversight, we noticed just how run down the lobby was. The whole place was very outdated, tiles were coming unglued from the floor, and to top it off they had the hugest roaches under the coffee table. They called us back and the massage therapists themselves were okay but after the messages we went back up front to tip. The same guy at the desk that had been so rude and unprofessional before was extremely pushy and aggressive about the tipping situation, which also but a bad taste in my mouth for the whole experience. From start to finish this place only cared about the money and does not care about customer service. I will never return and I hope this review helps others avoid what I went through on what was supposed to be such a special day. more

i have never been treated so rudely!!! after canceling an appointment due to strep throat, i was rudely talked to as i tried to reschedule. the costumer service was horrible. i thought that they would try to help a new customer but basically refused service. as there are so many costumer friendly spas in & around atlanta, i would certainly tell all to take their money else where more

I have been to Zenergize Spa twice, once for a massage and a facial, the masseuse was sniffing the whole time and wearing a doctor's mask, seriously if you are that sick you should not be doing a job where you touch people, you should be home. Two days later I got a miserable cold and I was sick as a dog for two weeks! The facial was good but the facialist had tanned skin and smelled like cigarette smoke, really?? The second time I came was to buy some Jane Iredale makeup and the receptionist wasn't wearing any shoes when she went to get the foundation for me!!! Again, really?????????? The people are very nice but I don't think I will be going back. more

I went to Zenergize after purchasing a gift certificate online. I booked a facial and a massage and went with one of my friends. I had the massage first. I really liked the way the therapist paid special attention to my hips, which definitely felt more relaxed after the massage. She used a technique where she lifted my leg slightly out to the side, and it felt wonderful. Then, I moved on to my facial. Because I have congested skin, the therapist suggested I upgrade to a "phyto" facial, and I really think it improved my skin after only one visit. It was also at this spa that I was introduced to a high frequency machine. My only complaint is that the therapist didn't fully explain to me the purpose and/or the function of the device prior to using it. The noise was a little startling and disturbed my previously relaxed mode. Regardless, I was very pleased with the results of my facial. The acne I had dried up and went away after about three days, so I now actively seek spas in my area that have high frequency machines. Were I closer to Roswell, I would absolutely return to Zenergize! more

After racking up mileage on training runs and in races, I always look forward to the relaxing massages at Zenergize to rid my body of accumulated stress. Like a kid in a candy store, Zenergize has many combinations of massages and will tailor your massage to fit your needs. Personally, I love the hot stones and reflexology components the best! I have been a Zenergize fan for over a year. The first time I walked in the door I immediately felt more relaxed. The staff is warm and personable and the surroundings are tranquil. I have been seeing Laura for massages the entire time I have been a client, and couldn't be happier. I have referred several friends and visit Zenergize at least monthly! I love it so much that I drive from Buckhead! Run--don't walk--to Zenergize to chill out from daily stress and unease. I love this place! more

I recently had a birthday and was surprised when a beautiful pink silk coin purse arrived in the mail close to my special day. When I opened it I was overjoyed to find that my sweet sister who lives in Hollywood, CA had bought me a gift certificate to Zenergize. My sister took a chance and it paid off! Lisa gave me the best Birthday massage I could ever ask for (also got a wonderful facial). I've had back issues for awhile now and love getting massages but I've got quite a few friends in the spa business and try to give them my business so I may have never tried this spa. I'm glad I did! I would go to Lisa every week if my budget allowed it (even though the cost of a massage there is reasonable). I don't love massages that are all fluff, I really like to walk out of one with some therapeutic results. Lisa picked up on this right away and is very knowledgeable. She even gave me some stretches to do for the areas she could tell were problematic for me. The atmosphere is great and everyone is very friendly, yet not overbearing. Lisa was great at not talking a lot during the massage too, which I prefer. I ended up going back to see her on a regular basis & can't wait until I get to go again. I highly recommend! more

My Mother came into town to meet my boyfriends parents for the first time and so I planned a day for the ladies to be pampered. It was very easy to schedule 3 massages for the same date and time. Also the service was great and it was very relaxing and peaceful. We all had a great time and it was the perfect jump start to the perfect weekend. more

Zenergize always has a good Zen vibe going on.. Calm and relaxing. Nothing like the other "well known spa" in the area that shuffles you in and out like catttle.. Friendly staff, good variety of services. I highly recomend trying it. more

I love Zenergize. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. It is posh and quaint. Everyone I have come into contact with has been very caring and professional. This spa doesn't rush you ---you are relaxed upon arrival and departure! The best part is the massages are absolutely incredible and extremely affordable. I will not go anywhere else! more

Zenergize Wellness Spa = knowledgable massage therapists, beautiful and relaxing ambiance, and worth your dime!! Take this from an experienced massage hunter, you need to give this place a chance. I have been to SO many different spas and massage therapists and have left disappointed, feeling virtually no different than when I entered. But Zenergize has given me the BEST massage I have EVER had!! My shoulders have been compared to rocks and my muscles to wire cords......When I left Zenergize I not only felt relaxed, but I could actually feel the difference in tension. It was healing, and as a counselor I appreciate the deep connection between mind and body that is central to holistic health and wellness. If you are looking for an effective massage in an environment that values holistic health, then you will find yourself at home at Zenergize. I truly got renewed and re-energized by getting a Thai massage at Spa Zenergize. It was the first time I tried this type of massage and it was awesome. Plus, the spa atmosphere is comfy and genuine. You feel so welcomed ? whether on the phone with the spa or when you?re there. It?s cool ? you are treated like a friend they?ve known for a long time. How neat is that? I?ve been back & love it there; can?t wait to go back again to this down-to-earth spa where I can re-energize my body, mind, & spirit. I started going to Zenergize a few years ago and don't get to go nearly as much as I would like due to time and life issues, but I can certainly recommend Arteus as a top notch massage therapist. Nate is always friendly and Jemille is on the ball with appointments, confirmations and any needs such as purchasing gift certificates. They will even call to check up on you if it's been a while since they have seen you!!! It's rare that you find a place where the administrative staff if as thoughtful and caring as the clinical crew. I've been impressed with the facials, the massages and am looking forward to trying some of the other services. The green decor is wonderful. The location is charming and the fees are most reasonable. I'm hoping Santa brings me a big fat gift certificate for Christmas...I can't think of any thing I need or want more...Christie J. I have been a loyal Zenergize customer for the past year and would never think of going anywhere else. The massage therapists truly give new meaning to pampering. The atmosphere is calming and copacetic and the staff is doting and attentive. I do not live anywhere near Zenergize but go the extra distance--it is fully worth it! When I feel overwhelmed, stressed and exasperated, I imake an appointment for a Zenergize massage and walk out refreshed and rejuvenated. I sing the praises of Zenergize on a regular basis and have referred MANY friends who have also had nothing but positive things to say about it. I have been unsatisfied with several day spa massage therapists in the past until hitting 'massage pay-dirt' with Zenergize. Everyone deserves to be pampered...especially in the crazy world we live in. I am so ecstatic that I have found this place. I was referred here by a friend and I am so greatful. The spa is not only beautiful and relaxing inside but the service is impecable. I believe this is key to bringing customers back again and again. I work a typical 9 - 5 job in Midtown and I live in Roswell. Zenergize is close to my home so it does make things convenient. When I made my last appointment, the gentleman at the front desk was more then willing to work around my schedule. He was really sweet about it too! The appointment was made outside of their normal working hours, just because that was the best time I could make it! My massage was phenomenal. The right amount of pressure was used and I felt great when I left. Since I had not had dinner yet, I was even recommended a restaurant nearby. Kudos for keeping business local!!!
