Mumtaz Zaman has been in the health insurance business for over 25 years. He first started with FHP, selling health plans in Culver City and North Hollywood area in Los Angeles, CA. He moved to Houston and worked with Humana and, Cigna Health as a sales representative.
In the mid-90s, he joined The PrudentialHealth as a sales rep where he quickly rose to the position of Sales Manager. His job was to train, develop and motivate the sales reps. He and his team won many production achievement awards for becoming the top producer in Texas and Southwest Region. In 1999 he left Prudential to open his Allstate agency in Houston where he became one of the fast-growing new agents in Texas.
