Yokohama Japanese Restaurant

I had seen this place before but never thought much of it just because it seems like it's so small from the outside, nothing special. Alas, I was wrong! :} A few weeks ago my boyfriend took me here for sushi and I was oh so pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was inviting and pleasant. And I absolutely fell in love with their traditional Japanese decorations. The staff was so so so nice and attentive. Oh and the food was some of the most fresh, well presented and delicious I have ever tasted. We ordered enough to feed two people (and by feed I mean stuff full) and it was under $50... even including the two shots of hot saki ;} It was so good that I've been back twice in the past two weeks, mmhmm, It's that awesome. Anyways, this is the BEST japanese/ sushi restaurant in Brandon hands down. more

These people love their job and are very much about customer service. The staff is very sweet! I had my birthday party there last year and plan to do it again this year. I compare food from Tampa to home in NY and never find any comparisons. But Yokohama's sushi, authenticity in decor and service is overall why I would recommend dining here to anyone who loves sushi or trying it for the first time.
