Yes the beer selection is huge and one can find a variety of mainstream beers; however, hard to find beers are hard to find here as well. The food was below average and plastic. ...

The food was pretty good and the customer service was excellent (a rare combination these days). If you like sports, the numerous televisions will keep you happy. Large selection of alcohol . . .I would defintely go again! more

If you like eating and drinking in a police state... 7/8/2006

""It's for your own protection!"" They recently installed vegas style security cameras overhead in the yardhouse in Pasadena to keep an eye on you. Also, they ID you every time you order a beer which is absurd and a complete hassle. I am just waiting for the retinal scan and fingerprints at the door. This place is like disneyland with beer. Thanks to corporate america, they like to tell you how they want you to feel safe and secure all while big brother keeps his watchful eye on you. I just want to light up a cigarette in the place and see what kind of chaos that causes. more

fun and fast paced 6/6/2006

i have been here a few times. it is a really fun place to go for happy hour with great deals. even if there are no tables, if you get there a little early you can usually find a seat at the bar. it is in the paseo so you can go to the movies or walk around after. terrific place and location more

Great salads! 5/8/2006

My girl friends and I go to Yardhouse for lunch often. They have absolutely the best salads I have eaten anywhere ever! I used to go to CPK but I have to admit that Yardhouse is now my favorite. Pros: nice patio for lunch, great selection beer Cons: sometimes very noisy, parking is annoying more

Fun 1/30/2006

Went here for my 21 birthday during happy hour to have a few martinis. The life saver was the best it tastes like butter scotch, loved it. The happy hour that they have their is amazing cheap beer and cheap martinis for the ladies. It gets crowded so you may have to stand, but if you want appetizer then you have to have a seat at the bar. The food here is also amazing. I love the lettece wraps. The prices are kind of high, but it is worth it. more

At the yard house there is a lot of beer there. Almost too many, yet at there are some good ones they are missing. The food is fatting, but good. Prices are ok, but happy hour is too short. more

Great selection of beer and food 8/12/2005

I have never been here before but my husband is a huge beer drinker so I decided to take him here for his birthday. We had a blast. There are so many beers on tap to try and so many different sizes to choose from. The food was excellent and well priced. But all in all, it didnt matter if I liked it, the only thing that mattered was my husband was happy. He has bragged about Yard House to so many people. We already have plans on returning. This time we will make it a group event. more

Great Food Great Beer 7/20/2005

My husband and love imported beer and this is a great place to find some of your favorite imported beer on tap. The selection is huge, you name it chances are they have it. The food is top notch, yes it is a bit pricey but the quality is superb. This restaurant is laid back so don't feel the need dress up, nice casual attire will be appropriate. This is a great date place. PROS: Beer Selection CONS: Food Is Pricey more

Great Happy Hour Deals 7/19/2005

This place has happy hour from 3-6 pm, Monday through Friday. Beers are only 2.75, and their appetizers are half off. Their appetizers are normally a bit unreasonably priced, but at half off, you can make a meal out of them. Their beer selection is amazing, with over 100 beers to choose from. Located right in the Paseo mall, they've got a great location to kick back and watch the world go by. PROS: Great location and beer selection. Happy hour prices are excellent. CONS: A bit pricey when not at happy hour. more

This place has an amazing beer list. But if you are like me and dont like beer, they have a few ciders as well. They also have a chocolate martini to die for! Its amazing and goes down so smooth. The food is okay depending (burgers are great) on what you order. Stay away from the pizza's and the sangria and mojitos. more

Great Service 1/20/2005

I went with a group of 15. Our server, Jennifer, was outstanding. We had 4 toddlers at the table, and she took it in stride. My glass was always full and the kids were kept busy so I could enjoy my ribeye. The appetizers are delicious, and the entrees are pretty good. It is very loud which is good and bad. Good because we did not have to worry about the kids laughing and yelling. Bad if you wanted a quiet dinner. This place looks great for sports games because there are TVs everywhere. Pros: Fun more

i love the yard house! it's definitely one of my favorites with over 100 beers on tap, incredibly delicious food, and a contemporary, artistic atmosphere! plus the desserts are decadent. it's a fun place for a group, or a romantic place for two. Pros: contemporary, fabulous food more
