The most important thing to know about this theater is that it's the only one available in this area. Weeknights can be quite pleasant. The theater usually isn't too crowded, parking is manageable and if you go early enough you can get a discount. On Tuesdays students get a discount all night. Weekends are a different story. Not only is parking awful but it's dangerous. People drive around like their lives depend on either, getting a parking space or getting out of the lot. The crowds are unbelievable, it seems like everyone in the entire state has come to the movies and most of them talk, use their cell phones, yell or smoke during the movie. The theater itself is nice with stadium seating and speakers that work well but the atmosphere leaves something to be desired on Friday and Saturday nights. more

If you dare visit on a weekend night, then give yourself an extra 15 minutes just for parking. Give yourself another 10 minutes to stand in line. Once you are there beware of the lobby. On the opening night of a big release be aware of traffic management issues. You may have to go through groups of people standing in the lobby waiting for their movie to start seating. Once you get to your screen the seating capacity is only designed for about 100 people, so get their early to get a decent seat. Now, there are a lot of people in the area who have no sense of ettiquitte concerning movie viewing. This is a common problem at all theaters now it seems, so if you are going to see a movie marketed toward a younger demographic your best bet is to go during the week or during a weekend day. Or else you may end up listening to one side of a telephone conversation or smelling someone smoking. One final note, be aware of the parking on the north corner of the parking lot, the retaining wall gave way a couple of years ago and it has not been fixed yet. They say it is safe and marked off the dangerous spaces, but I would try not to park anywhere near it. more

This movie theater has reasonable prices, good selection, and stadium seating. Employees are polite and bathrooms are clean. Cash only. The cost of the food/drinks are high but typical of movie theater prices. It's located off University Dr near the mall, and there's plenty of parking. It's the only movie theater in town, so if there's a popular movie out, you may want to show up early for tickets. more
