Friendly, Helpful, and not just interested in making a buck! 4/23/2012

I could not be happier with my experience! I came to Winston's after trying several other local Jewelry stores in the area and stumbling accross the website. I was looking for somone to help me with my custom engagement ring. Having a very modest budget and looking to create something unique, I purchased seperately a diamond and a cool 40's style setting that I know my girl is gonna love. All I needed was somone to custom mount the stone on the ring. \r Because I purchased the diamond and the ring seperatley, most of the jewelers I went to told me that they wouldn't even touch it unless one or the other had been purchased at their store. The ones who said they could do it quoted me ridiculous prices and often treated me like a second class citezen because I wasn't willing to come in and drop 10k on one of their premade peices. \r Winston's was truly a breath of fresh air! They were polite and respectful from the beginning. They listened attentively to what I was wanting to have done and paid close attention to the details. The original quote, because it was custom work and they thought it would require some fabrication, was around 400 dollars. After they began to work on the ring, they realized that they could actually do it for much cheaper by keeping the original setting and just reinforcing the old prongs. This would both save me money and also keep the style looking a lot closer to what i had originally envisioned. I picked up the ring today and it looks BEAUTIFUL!! She is going to be thrilled. And best of all it only cost me 100 bucks!! Any other store would have gone ahead with the original quote that I had agreed to but at Winston's my needs came first and they truly put the customer first. I am so impressed and would recommend them to EVERYONE!! more

RESPONSE TO CUSTOMER: rude & wont stand behind merchandise 8/20/2011

Husband ordered and bought a custom made mounting with a CZ for his wife. When the wife picked up the ring, she was very unhappy that the ring had a CZ instead of a diamond. She told us she did not want it and wanted a full refund, which we could not do because we custom made the mounting that the husband requested. Unfortunately, the CZ had a small chip on the corner, which we immediately replaced at no charge. We take full responsibility for all transactions. more

Great Prices 10/21/2008

My husband and I went out to find a 10ct diamond for our 10th anniversary. We had a hard time finding one that looked great and did not cost an arm and a leg. Most of the places that we went to wanted way to much money for then and did not have them in stock, they were going to have to get them in for us to even look at. We stumbled into Winston's and they not only had then for us to look at but their pricing was not even close to all the other places we had been. They were very fairly priced!!!! The staff was great, friendly and took very good care of us. \r We would recommend this store to anyone looking to purchase jewelry. \r And Yes we did buy the10ct that we had been looking for and we also bought my husband a rolex watch at the same time and still spent less money than every other place we went into and got prices for just the diamond.\r Thanks Winstons for making our anniversay very special for us!!!! more

MOST AMAZING JEWELRY EVERY!!!! 10/21/2008

My finace and I had been look for a diamond ring for months!! No body had what I wanted and the ones who came close where wayyyyy to expensive. We happened to walk into Winstons one day and I was so excited to find exactly what I wanted I almost cried! Since we were able to save a lot of money, my now husband decided to purchase a watch as well (hes a watch freak!). Plus these guys have the most amazing jewelry ever, pieces that I dont see even at Cartier or Tiffanys. The have a HUGE variety and selection of diamonds (no wonder I found mine!). Anyway, I always passed by there and never knew they existed. Im glad we found them. So if youre looking for good quality jewelry, high-end pieces or even watches....theyre are definitely the place to go!!!! Thanks!! :-) AAAA+++++ Pros: variety, huge selection, great prices!!! more
